My family and I have been fans of this dog food for many years. We have raised four dogs over the years, feeding them this dog food throughout their lives. They all lived long, healthy lives, with shiny coats and well-developed muscles. Our Papillon lived to be 19, our Bichon Frise lived to 18, our Golden Retriever reached 14, and our mixed-breed dog lived to 18 as well. None of them ever got sick, and even in old age, they remained active and could walk without any problems. We still use this dog food today, and our current dog is very healthy, with a beautiful coat and no issues at all.

A nutritious and balanced diet not only supports their overall well-being but also boosts their energy levels. Always check the ingredients and brand quality before making a purchase!

We have used Alert dog pellets for many years for our working farm kelpie dogs. Have never had a problem with dogs not having enough energy , getting fat and lazy or too thin. It’s a good honest value product that has met our requirements for many years.

The packaging really says it all, the name too to be honest.

I saw there was a new food on here and thought I’d check it out. I’m not surprised, saw one look at the packaging and knew the road we were going to go down almost immediately. This company even if an American family business should be ashamed of themselves. This honestly looks like some advert from the 80’s! So nostalgic….. Ugh.

A quick check reveals one is a nutritionally empty and mildly toxic bag of crap at around $1.92 per kilo, while the other costs around $24/kg and is used to fill furniture. Yeesh who actually buys this stuff? It feels like their name and photo ought to be on some sort of public registry.

To name and shame a few popular brands of pet foods with food colourings – Pedigree, My Dog, Good-o, Whiskas, Dine, Fancy Feast.

Surprising, isn’t it! None of the above have been rated highly.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen “food colouring or veg. oil” on any bag of dry dog food! Without a doubt any dog who eats this wont have a long life. No company should be allowed to sell such crap! SHAME ON THIS COMPANY!
