Can you please do a review of the canned applaws? I just noticed it at Woolworths, I have never bought a canned food from the supermarket before, but this looked like it would add a nice change now and then. thanks.

I’ve been wondering the same thing. Also, our doggo has had a bit of a funny tummy recently, and doesn’t want to eat the current lot – which for her is odd behaviour as she eats anything. There could be heaps of other explanations though – could be completely unrelated.

It was out of stock for a few weeks and now the kibble is smaller in shape

We use it as a daily staple usually mixed with a little wet food, a tin of sardines, some steamed veges (pumpkin, sweet potato) or a raw egg. They have always eaten it readily even without anything mixed with it and do well on it.

My pup is 18 weeks old. Have been giving Applaws, chicken & turkey for the first time the last 3 days in small quantities mixed with her Optimum. She loves & finishes fast. However, she has been having very soft poo & more frequently. Should I continue transitioning or do I stop?

Hi Sam, this sounds worrying :/

Could you add this to the APOG website? https://www.apog.com.au/recall-issue-log/applaws/

I also bought this food for my 8 year old Dalmatian who has been fed Lifewise and thrived – purchased this as was running low on their usual bickies. My dog woke up vomitting 2-3am every morning he was fed this. Then walked around the house gagging and vomitting throughout the day. Changed him to Nood whilst waiting my life wise delivery and instantly stopped the vomitting and gagging. This food is not right.
