I don’t expect this to be the case Krazic.

My thoughts would be inappropriate ingredients for a carnivore, but also cats fed a restricted diet for a period of time will often react to any new foods being introduced.

Am wondering about others in the Dine Cat Food Range and in particular the Dine Classic Collection Saucy Morsels as it is listed as Complete and Balanced in terms of AAFCO standards. Is it as bad, or nearly so, as the Dine Desire and if so how much can we rely on AAFCO standards in determining how good various cat food types actually are. I am hoping that the Classic Collection is at least reasonable as my cat, who is a bit fussy, loves the stuff.

Gosh I wish I read your message before buying this shit from my local store.
I have a lovely ragdoll cat that is intolerant to chicken and i also bought the fish range thinking that its contents was purely fish as this is stipulated in bright bold words on the front of the package but no that wasn’t the case and not until my cat was reacting with breathing difficulties and with diarrhea with blood/muscus in it did I then fully looked at the ingredients on the side of the box in small print (not easy to read in the supermarket store with the glare of lighting) To discover with total disbelief that chicken/other meats was the main ingredient and infact fish was just the flavoring. I paid for the high end of expensive cat food from the local store hoping that the product was of good quality and true to its nature to be tricked into what the product actually is and to now worry about my cats health and possible vet bills due to this..
Very Disappointing that this company is allowed to sell their product under false prestence. Surely there is some law in this country(Aust) for misguided information and labeling of pet food that can potentially make them sick

Dine is also as expensive as all the good brand like Applaws but contains hardly any comparable ingredients at all, not to mention ethical meats.

I just gave my cats some of their so called seafood Range! My boys only eat fish and I was extremely annoyed that tuna and prawn also contains chicken and meat products! My cats had the sh*ts for 2 days .
And with no response from the company after 2 emails I would like a response!
Always check what you are feeding your cats guys please
