Hi Linda, sorry for the delay in replying. Have you considered raw (lean meats and offal) or BARF patties in combination with the Royal Canin? Dogs satiate well on meat/offal, and lowering carbohydrates should also help your Labrador return to what their ideal weight should be.

Another option is fast days – can’t say I’ve done this with my dog, but I know people have had success with it. You might be pestered all day for food though!

I like to add fruit and veggies, what are your thoughts, i have greatly cut down on treats. He is a tall fellow and is 2 years old, ideally they would like him to be 42kg.
I think i can work out a better weight loss plan, that seems way too much food, regards Linda
