I had a question regarding picking a puppy food for my new puppy. Last week my wife and I rescued a puppy off the street. We assume him to be a Lab/Pitbull mix and anticipate him being large based on his current size and estimated age. We assume him to be approximately 10 weeks. We have been feeding him Purina Pro Plan for almost a week now, since that is what the internet wants to recommend, but we want to switch him. Our vet specifically told us to use a “Large Breed puppy” formula, but brands I want to feed, like taste of the wild, don’t specify large breed for any of their puppy food. Is this something I should actually be concerned about? I want to make sure my pup is getting the nutrition he needs. Thanks!!!
