Is Lifewise a preferred option to Taste of the Wild? I see this scores 8.8 while ToTW scores 8.4.

Unfortunately my cats refused to eat the lifewise grain free fish kibble, despite a careful transition. Both have previously been overweight so have always had to be on restricted feed times due to being little greedy guys, but even after switching ad-lib they both lost weight due to being reluctant to eat the kibble. Over their life they have probably been transitioned to 5-10 different brands and recipes with no issue. My observations are that the kibble size is quite large and the biscuits are quite solid, both cats have minimal dental disease but I imagine they’d be borderline impossible to eat for any cat with dental issues.

Very disappointing, I was excited to support an American based brand after loving Orijen but not loving the inconsistent availability.

Has anyone else found the biscuits incredibly hard and solid. No other biscuit has had my cat leaving little half chewed pieces everywhere?

I bought this based on your review and my cat likes it so I will continue to buy so thanks for introducing me to a brand I’d not heard of.
As a side note I also bought Lifewise reward nibbles, kangaroo treats but my cat won’t touch them, they are primarily dog treats but the packet says cats love them too, so I broke them up and softened them in boiling water and once cold and slightly softened she still won’t eat them.
