I have a cat with genetic gum disease and he cant chew on dry food and wont eat it when soaked. I have tried freeze dried also and raw and its a no go. He was eating ziwi peak but has gone off it suddenly and applaws is to expensive for 2 cats. Not to mention Obviously wet food is best for their kidneys and urinary. Please please please do a best wet cat food list. thabk you.

Welcome back Curious,

Again, this is an open forum and constructive comments are welcome. If you have factual information to add from your wealth of experience in the pet food industry then please do so, but make it constructive.

This post is aimed at those who feed supplemental foods believing they provide a pet with all the nutrition they need. They don’t.

I can’t comment whether the tuna in this food is any better or worse than John West. That’s not the point of the article.

MOST WET PET FOODS ARE NOT A PROPER DIET !!!
You honestly have no idea and never been to a pet food manufacturing facility.
This manufacture is being responsible by stating this product is for supplemental feeding. If you look at the ingredients it’s Tuna. There are no artificial colours or preservatives. It’s probably better than John West Tuna !!!
This product is a treat only. Most cat owners will feed dry food for health and wet food for taste and variety. Plus if you knew anything about pet nutrition yow would know that a dog or cat can have snacks or treats or even table scraps as long as they do not make up more than 10% of their daily calorie intake.

If you are going to be serious about your reviews, get the facts, do your homework and get the other side of the story.
