2% bamboo fibre would be added for digestive support, so pragmatic reasons. Tapioca at 17% is the better case to argue, but it’s in moderation to what you find in most dog foods sold in America.

In addition, Prime100 rolls being sold in store wouldn’t really make a website many affiliate $s, would they?

Giving this a high score with it being full of filler (Bamboo and Tapioca) just demonstrates your complete lack of ability to assess what is good and what is not.

Shameful

We have four medium size dogs and they are now over 9 years old (same litter).

All four dogs have had issues with their back legs, one of the dogs was literally dragging her back legs around the house.

My mom has been feeding them Pal for most of their life (alternating with days of mince meat veg and rice).

Someone recommended giving them Prime100, they said it would improve their health.

I cannot believe how much it’s changed their lives.

These dogs were literally on their last legs and now the one who was dragging her legs around behind her is walking and running (slow but still running)

The only thing that changed was their food and to see it make with a difference to their demeanor was both wonderful and sad. To think feeding them subpar dog food could have contributed to them getting health issues …

I returned it back to Petbarn and gave them photos, they advised me someone else has reported the same issue with a different brand of refrigerated dog food and when this last happened, a customers dog got very very sick after eating some of the plastic. I commented maybe they are being processed in the same facility. Thankfully my dog has only eaten about 1x 1cm slice of the roll. I shredded most of the roll to check the extent of the plastic and found a couple more pieces. It saddens me Pet Food Judge is correct that quality of Prime 100 seems to be declining rapidly ever since they sold out to Colgate-Palmolive. I really hope decent Aussie owned pet food companies STOP SELLING OUT TO MAJOR GLOBAL COMPANIES! It should at least be written in the contract that ingredients and manufacturing processes should REMAIN THE SAME!!

He was rushed to emergency vet, spend many nights there. We put it down to maybe he’s sensitive to fish? I was trying to find kangaroo to give him as I am scared to try any common proteins now, he’s just started on the kangaroo and pumpkin but the air dried, not the roll. I thought this looked really good but now the comments are scaring me and I’m wondering if it’s just prime100 that causes issues. I guess I’ll update.

She does so well on this food she has environmental allergies and a sensitive stomach. I have tried switching foods a few times, but I always return to Prime 100, as she does best on this food.

Hi I’m shocked too as I’ve been feeding these dog rolls for years too and in the last year my dogs stomach and skin conditions have come back with a vengeance. I can’t work it out thinking it’s not the dog rolls kangaroo pumpkin and salmon topica. Now I think it is contributing, new ingredients. Not happy spent a lot of time at the vet last year because of it. My dog actually can’t eat anything, like Chicken I suspect grains, wheat any grain free treats. I worry about her teeth as she is 13 but her teeth are pretty good. Do you have a good treat that would clean her teeth and I think I’d better try a new formula. My dog has been on these roll since she was about 4. But unfortunately has always suffered allergies. Have basically lived at the vet her whole life because of flare-ups around every 6 months now it’s been every 3 months. Sorry she also has hill science for food allergies and stomach and kangaroo and pumpkin. Taking away hills science probably the chicken. Now I’m worried about the dog rolls. Thanks for listening
