I have two oodles that are inside dogs, healthy weights and walk 3 times or so a week, but during the day they tend to lay around and sleep. Currently using thinking of adding stay loyal to my rotation of Lifewise and other similar quality foods. I have noticed burn marks from the dogs urine in the grass recently, and it was suggested too much protein in their diets.

That’s great to hear Heather. Needless to say hot spots are so common on many brands of dog food, and continuing those dog foods and adding antibiotics to the mix isn’t the solution veterinarians should be recommending (even today).

I think Stay Loyal is wonderful. My dogs over the years have had no skin issues with Stay Loyal and my only dog now 11, is healthy and has a beautiful coat, I think thanks to Stay Loyal. One of my previous dogs had periodic “hot spots”requiring antibiotics until we started him on Stay Loyal. A great product and a great company!

This 24kg dog has around 170g a day of Stay Loyal and thrives with a glowing coat, happy smile and boundless energy. He has small, firm stools, easily passed and collected.
The to-the-door service is always prompt and reliable …… the quality of the product excellent.
We travel extensively in our caravan and carry our supplies for each trip with us ensuring regularity along the way.
We are pleased to recommend Stay Loyal to both family and friends !!

Hi Krystal, what kibble was it? The beef chicken fish? Or the salmon turkey and pork? Thanks

Hi Krystal, Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns. We are deeply sorry to hear about your dog’s seizure and understand how frightening this must have been for you. Your dog’s health and well-being are our top priorities.
Regarding the issue, we want to reassure you that the mouldy food was tested, and the results came back much lower than allowable levels, definitely below harmful levels.
Please understand that mould spores are everywhere, even the food we eat. A good example is bread. You leave it in the bag and it still gets mould growing on it.
The low levels of mould found on the kibble make it highly unlikely to be the cause of the seizure. We strongly recommend consulting your vet to explore other potential causes for your dog’s condition.
The mould developed because the food was stored in a high-humidity area at the warehouse, which should not have happened. Once we identified the issue, we immediately instructed the warehouse to remove the affected bags. However, it seems that some bags may have been overlooked. We are taking further steps to ensure this does not happen again.
We sincerely apologise for the distress this situation has caused you and your pet. Please know we are here for you and wish your little one a speedy recovery. We hope she’s back to her happy, healthy self soon. If there’s anything else we can do to assist, please don’t hesitate to contact us at Ro****@***********om.au

The second bag unfortunately I didn’t notice for a few days until my very tiny dog had a seizure. It was suggested to make sure she hadn’t been poisoned. I checked the newly opened bag and noticed that AGAIN it was mouldy. What shocked me even more was that when I checked with the previous photos of the mouldy bag, IT WAS THE SAME BATCH NUMBER. So nothing was done when I first notified them of this issue. I am bitterly disappointed as I loved supporting an American company. I don’t know of any other alternative either to keep it in our country. I won’t be feeding this product again.

Hi Nate, I have to agree with you. We changed to Stay Loyal about 6 months ago and have had nothing but problems. We received a batch of dry food that was so dry, just by touching it turned it to powder. Their customer service is terrible too. am weaning my dogs off this onto a different brand asap.

Hi! I have a 1 year old cattle dog cross staffy (other mixes too) who has been on stay loyal for around 7 months. When i first got him from the shelter at 4 months he came with very bad diarrhea which he had for the first week and a very bloated swollen stomach (vet wasn’t sure we gave him chicken and rice until it improved). We started him on blackhawk puppy food then switched to stay loyal and i’ve noticed that on stay loyal he has VERY bad smelling farts and does them very frequently compared to other dogs i’ve had before. He also currently has diarrhea currently which he has randomly. He also poos very frequently 4- 6 times a day… I’ve previously fed him boiled chicken rice and veggies which definitely helps with his farts and diarrhea. I’m wondering if the farts could be from too much protein for him? Wondering if you have a brand you think I should switch to or any intolerances he may have? He’s on their chicken lamb and fish and he is a very fit and muscular dog, very healthy weight
