We have a Schiperrke, desexed female. We have had trouble trying to get her to eat kibble. I got some True dog grain free today, mixed it in with the regular Optimum we give her, would you believe it, she picked out the Kangaroo grain free and left the rest. Very happy, as it’s taken months of trying different kibble. Thanks True Blue.

True Blue – GF Beef now at Woolies or at least Woolies Mid North NSW coast. Around $25 – per 2.5KG Label saying 27% protein/17% fat
I have not tried the dried food, neither has the dog. So can not comment on how it goes.

I’m feeding both my dogs- a 5kg, 5yo foxie and a 30kg, 11mth old collie/staffy/lab mutt- the grain free formula, and they’re THRIVING on it. It’s a damn good price at my local rural store too!

Hi David,
Thank you for taking the time to reach out and for your feedback regarding the kibble size in our TRUE BLUE Working Dog Formula. We understand your concern, especially given the range of sizes within your Ragnadogs pack.

As TRUE BLUE is an Agri channel brand with limited shelf space, we developed an All Life Stage formula rather than go to the market with multiple life stage variations (as we just would not get ranging). This ensures that the product is suitable for puppies from weaning, adults, seniors and gestating lactating bitches. Rural dog owners typically have a stable of dogs and often want something they can give to the whole mob.
The kibble size was carefully chosen to cater for 95% of the dogs we targeted while balancing nutritional needs across all life stages.
We also promote on the packaging that we support mixed feeding of wet and dry food and that the product can be rehydrated which will both reduce the risk of dogs gulping their food. We do also provide sample packs to stores and promote sampling so that owners can trial the product, which would help them decide if the food is appropriate for them and their dogs
We do endeavor to do our best and will consider your feedback going forward as we do have a pet first mentality, given we are also pet parents ourselves.

I purchased a barrel of working dog formula!
When I opened it I was extremely disappointed to find toy dog sized kibble to my knowledge working dogs range in size from medium to large! My pack “Ragnadogs” range in size from English staffy to Great Dane I selectively breed them as all rounders hence the name Ragnadogs.
My point is my dogs have a tendency to choke on the small kibble for further information please contact me via my email address. Regards David Knight
