What idiot feeding an obligate carnivore a diet without the basic ingredients needed to keep the thing alive is going to self report their cat is sick because of them?!!?

“Yes fluffy spends 90% of her day lying on the kitchen floor with her tongue out, her fur is grey even though she’s a ginger, her skin is loose and sometimes I have to double check to see if she’s breathing, all because of what I feed her, no I won’t be changing her diet, why?”

I’d love to blame this on the publish or die culture in pop science but seriously, at that point just become a gardener or something, the passion for the field is so far gone if you’re publishing backwards findings.

I’m not even a scientist and I could see through the bullshit, they’re too lazy to even hide the crap under jargon and spin.
