They also feed him tables scraps each day. You can already tell where this is going.

I receive the pup in an overweight, lethargic state. I put him on a steady food schedule, diet, and he goes back into healthy weight range while being able to run 5ks with me every other day. The moment I return the pup, they feed him KFC for dinner.

This has consequences, he now has IBS and diarrhea every three months. He sprayed poo and vomited last time I was dogsitting in the house, and I had to take him to the vet to get medication, probiotics, and prebiotics.

This was not happening again this time around, so doing research I found wolfit box (thanks to chatgpt), and placed a hail mary order online and asked my in laws to transition him a week before.

Immediately after two weeks his coat isn’t as oily, or coarse. He has more energy and scarfs down the food.
He no longer looks for more food and licks the ground hours after feeding. He is satiated until the next feeding time.

And best of all, his poo’s are solid and glorious. I would love for my in laws to keep the wolfit box going after I’m done dogsitting, but even though they spend thousands on travel each year I don’t think they are willing to spend a little bit extra coin on their now senior pup for good food.

Anyway, as long as he’s under my care he will get the best food and exercise. If I can do something to prolong his life a little longer I will, and I’m pleasantly surprised the wolfit box ticked all the boxes for awesomeness.

She’s very fussy and doesn’t like eating the same food over and over again, often going on hunger strikes, so even though I could afford 100% Lyka it was more for variety than anything else. Anyway, she had to get shaved due to some grass seeds and I was concerned about her missing meals while trying to regrow her coat, so I tried WolfIt. Wow, she loves the raw food! She’s also got a sensitive stomach so there was a small transition period. I now feed her WolfIt instead of Lyka and she scoffs down every morsel, often eating around or leaving behind the dry food. The savings compared to Lyka is also appealing. Her coat is growing back beautifully so far and she’s eating regularly. I have only had a couple of packs leak. I defrost overnight in a plastic bag and then I open the packet and squeeze it all into some tupperware, since I feed each 200g pack over about 3 meals. Yes it is slightly inconvenient to deal with the raw food however my dog absolutely loves it.

We avoid chicken so get turkey, lamb and fish. Never had an issue with packaging or delivery. It turns up frozen and portioned. It defrosts in no time. Wilma hasn’t had an ear infection since. We feed her half Wolfit and half Lifewise kibble. The price is good in comparison to others too.

Is there any literature on costs? I dont want to provide my contact/personal info if the costs are prohibitive. I have a itch prone 50kg mastiff and we cannot have any poultry in her diet. We tend to stick to fish or roo. Some similar products are leaning towards $40 per day, thats more than it costs to feed me. Cheers

I switched to Wolfit around October 2026 and narrowed my selection down to just beef and lamb as I thought my old lady was reacting to chicken and Turkey. They do have an excellent variety if your dog can tolerate! The delivery was spot on and the food neatly packed and still frozen every time.
I have been pleased with my decision to feed my dog Wolfit. I am a single parent who hasn’t got loads of money so the monthly payment was a lot for me – but it was so worth it. (I chose monthly due to freezer space – you get a better deal the more you buy at a time). My dogs BM were healthier looking, she was still hopping around like a puppy and she loved to eat the food warmed up.
Recently, we had to put our beautiful lady to sleep. She was almost 16. I got in touch with wolfit to cancel my order that had been paid for but not shipped yet. They were gracious enough to cancel the order and refund my money.
If I ever get another dog, I will definitely be starting them on wolfit from the get go. Wolfit over Lyka any day!

Hi Rosanna,

We’re sorry to hear you’ve had a disappointing experience and wanted to clarify a few details for anyone reading this.

We responded to your initial query within 4 hours and explained that your Starter Box was fulfilled correctly, it provides 4 weeks of meals at 200g/day, delivered as 14 x 400g packs (a total of 28 days of food), as stated clearly on the plan and in the screenshot we sent you.

We also acknowledged that there was a brief error with how the number of packs was displayed online, which we corrected immediately. We offered you a 20% discount and even an additional 50% refund as a gesture of goodwill, despite the order being correct. We have not heard back from you since offering these resolutions.

We take all feedback seriously and always strive to resolve issues promptly and fairly. We appreciate the patience and understanding we receive from the vast majority of our customers, and we’re proud to stand behind the quality of our products and service.

If you’d like to discuss this further or accept one of the resolutions we’ve already offered, please feel free to reach out to us directly, we’re happy to help.

Thank you,
Dan & the Wolfit Team

I was very disappointed with my recent order from this company. The website advertised 56 packets of 200g each, so I placed my order expecting to receive exactly that. However, what I actually received was far less — only 14 packets, despite paying for 56. When I raised the issue, the company blamed a “website glitch” but offered no real solution or compensation that matched what I paid for.
I asked for a partial refund or the missing items, but their response was vague and unhelpful. It feels like they are trying to avoid responsibility for misleading customers.
If you’re thinking of ordering, be very cautious. You might not get what you pay for, and you may be left to chase them for a resolution that never comes. I hope this review helps you avoid the frustration I experienced.

I have previously tried Lyka and Furfresh (frozen meals) with her and I think I prefer Wolfit over them both. My only complaint is that I don’t like having to cook everything each month (I prefer to feed her cooked), so wish there was a cooked option, but in that time I’ve only had one pack split and found if fairly easy. Her coat looks good and her poops are much better than they were on Furfresh. I love the range of different meat options (she’ll eat anything but I’m certain she likes variety, and I find the packets stack well in the freezer unlike some of the other brands.

I recently switched from Wolfit to 5hounds because I didn’t have to cook it, 5hounds is already sous vide. So it ‘s more convenient. Also includes good novelty proteins such as goat.

Hey Katherine, I haven’t had a pack leak in months so I think they’ve sorted that out. As for delivery, I’ve found that the courier they use is a bit shit and have had an issue of varying severity most deliveries. Mostly fairly trivial, but sometimes they don’t delivery on the day they said they will so I’ve had to go out and buy alternate food to fill the gap. I still think the product itself is good, just be mindful that the courier might be a bit annoying at times.
