]]> By: Nikita https://www.petfoodjudge.com/ziwipeak-dog-food-review/#comment-47147 Sat, 29 Mar 2025 11:26:25 +0000 https://www.petfoodjudge.com/?p=1572#comment-47147 Nope I have 6 rescues, the past 4 years I have been mixing Ziwi with cooked meats and veg for my fur babies, the last year however their health depleted and bloodwork showed levels of toxicity in kidneys .. so I went easy on the meats and mixed white and red meats .. they continued to lose energy fast and were off their foods .. so I decided to stop the Ziwi peak for a few weeks and within two weeks they were back to normal, happy, eating snd energised, by day 5 I did some blood work and levels went down so to be sure it was the Ziwi .. I very slowly reintroduced the Ziwi in tiny amounts and that evening they were not well and one incredibly unwell .. ziwi is not what it was and now contains garbage .. beware !!

I recently tried the steamed and dried version of Ziwi for my labradoodle, and he really loves it! It seems like a more affordable option, but I’m curious to know how it compares in quality to the original air-dried version. Does it meet similar nutritional standards? Would appreciate your thoughts or any insights.

i have been feeding my 2 year old Samoyed Ziwi peak air dried and now also the Ziwi Peak Steam Dried Lamb with Vegetables, his coat is even more stunning and great to see that Ziwi peak has included fruit and vegetables in their formulas. Highly recommend.

Think it’s a great food. Would love to hear your thoughts on Ziwi’s new “Steamed and Air-Dried” formulations. Looks like they’re added more veggies/fruit and less meat.

I wish I could feed my dog just Ziwi but she gets very soft stools on it so sadly can’t do.
