- Daniel on What’s the Best Kitten Food in America?: “What do you think about tikicat wet kitten food?” May 22, 16:23
- on American Cat Food Brands: “Tyga subscription meals are also amazing and clean. Please review Tyga as it’s American made and sourced meat. People might say it’s pricey but I feel worse buying terrible cheap food and watching my girl eat it… it’s all my 15 month old kitten eats with a bit of water mixed in – no kibble at all. She is super healthy and full of energy and licks her bowl clean.” May 22, 13:31
- on True Blue Dog Food Review: “We have a Schiperrke, desexed female. We have had trouble trying to get her to eat kibble. I got some True dog grain free today, mixed it in with the regular Optimum we give her, would you believe it, she picked out the Kangaroo grain free and left the rest. Very happy, as it’s taken months of trying different kibble. Thanks True Blue.” May 21, 14:28
- on Prime100 Dog Food Rolls Review: “2% bamboo fibre would be added for digestive support, so pragmatic reasons. Tapioca at 17% is the better case to argue, but it’s in moderation to what you find in most dog foods sold in America. In addition, Prime100 rolls being sold in store wouldn’t really make a website many affiliate $s, would they?” May 20, 02:33
- on SavourLife Cat Food Review: “Oooops, yes that’s definitely a typo! Now fixed, and thank you for letting me know!” May 20, 02:26
- on What’s the best dog food (in America)?: “Thank you for all your advice and I’m very sorry for your loss of Archie . Could you please give me your opinion on Vetalogica dry food. I usually alternate between Fisherman’s Feast and Hunter Valley. My dogs love it (both Border Collies) and they only get as a topper (1 cup between them) on their raw food that I prepare. TIA” May 19, 10:37
- on What’s the best cat food (in America)?: “I feed nothing but Feline Naturals to my kitties. I personally feel it’s the healthiest one not only in America, but the world. It’s made for obligate carnivores. I’m surprised we haven’t seen a review on it yet.” May 15, 18:14
- on SavourLife Cat Food Review: “Your last paragraph says “I would highly recommend feeding your kitten a “dry only” diet.” Typo?” May 14, 17:17
- on Be Frank Dog Food Review: “Thank you for this comment. I am looking into a suitable opetion for my new kitten and it appears like as of May 2026 their wet food does indeed have Carrageenan, so I will stay clear of it. (Their dry food does not have this ingredient presumably because its purpose is for wet foods.)” May 13, 16:25
- on Big Dog Dog Food Review: “Hi David, just read your review of Big Dog Patties and I was curious after reading such a glowing review that it only gets 8.7 Could you enlighten me please Thankyou Linda” May 12, 19:46
- on Prime100 Dog Food Rolls Review: “Giving this food a 9 out of 10 is yet another bias review to line your pockets with affiliate $’s. Giving this a high score with it being full of filler (Bamboo and Tapioca) just demonstrates your complete lack of ability to assess what is good and what is not. Shameful” May 12, 18:40

- on SoulMate Dog Food Review: “I have emailed this company twice to clarify if the meat is raw or cooked before freeze or air drying and have not received a reply which leads me to question their transparency.” May 6, 06:06

- on Purina One Cat Food Review: “My cats can’t eat fancy feast or fussy cat food (it gives them gastro issues). Dine is hit and miss, with them having more of a tolerance for ocean fish,Tuna Mornay and the Turkey. Sometimes I’ve noticed a smell after purchasing the Dine food on special (maybe the shipment was sat in the sun too long who knows) and they turn their nose up completely. They don’t like Nood, Applaws or Kiwi wet food either!!!! And even though it’s been around forever, I refuse to feed them Whiskers. Ironically, Purina One is the only wet and dry food they all (x3) love, along with Ultimates (no adverse reactions). I’m currently trialing another dry as it has a great mix of raw and kibble, first night went well (no ill effects at all). However it is expensive. On a budget I try to do what’s best for my cats but I was once advised that if the first ingredient on a packet of pet food was meat (instead of a cereal) then it should be ok. In the grand scheme of things, for a person with three cats, $17 for a box of 12 wet (doesn’t go far with three cats) and $20 for a bag of supplemental kibble isn’t that cheap considering there are much cheaper brands out there. So I’m surprised with the Purina review. Seeing the ‘makes some terrible food’ comment concerns me!” May 3, 05:55
- on What’s the best dog food (in America)?: “Thank you so much. Such a great informative read. It’s so refreshing to read something by someone who sounds like they actually have the same intention as I do and that is providing our dogs, often our best friends and family, with the best care we know how to give them. Your work is truly appreciated. ” May 2, 11:52
